Marie Pantojan

Marie Pantojan is a Senior Editor at Random House, where she publishes both nonfiction and literary fiction. Across these categories, she looks for stories that are thoughtful, intellectually engaging, and beautifully told. Authors she has published include winners and/or finalists for the the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, the Mark Lynton History Prize, the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction, the New American Voices Award, and many others. In nonfiction, she has recent or forthcoming books with Rebecca Donner, David Leonhardt, Dr. Joy Buolamwini, Judd Apatow, and Cristina Rivera Garza; in fiction, her authors include Daphne Palasi Andreades, Nicole Dennis-Benn, Nicky Gonzalez, Karen Jennings, and Mai Nardone. She was a 2023 PW Star Watch honoree, and is a longtime mentor with the Representation Matters Program.
