Anne Groell has been editing science fiction and fantasy for over thirty years—although she has been a devotee of the genre far longer. She started at Avon Books in 1992, moved on to Bantam Spectra in 1994, then was merged with the Del Rey team in 2008. She works with such authors as George R.R. Martin, Cassandra Clare, Terry Brooks, Naomi Novik, Robin Hobb, Scott Lynch, Peter F. Hamilton, and Connie Willis. Anne is a native New Yorker who now lives in the Bronx with her husband and daughter.
