U.S. Navy Alphabet Book

D is for Diving. Hard hat divers do underwater construction, salvage, and repairs. Hard hat divers get their air from the surface through hoses. Scuba divers breathe air from a tank or from rebreathers. SCUBA stands for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.
     EOD divers are special scuba divers who are trained to find and dispose of unexploded bombs. EOD stands for Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
