Azraf Khan is an Editorial Assistant at Random House, where they assist Marie Pantojan and Andy Ward. They work alongside authors such as George Saunders, Ed Park, Charles Duhigg, Jenn M. Jackson, Karen Jennings, and David Leonhardt. Azraf is interested in literary and journalistic nonfiction, cultural criticism, history, sports, and anything that deeply explores gender, sexuality, race–and the intersections between them. They also love literary fiction, sci-fi, horror, and stories that are grand, earnest, and cinematic. Across these nonfiction and fiction categories, they are most passionate about stories that can showcase the depths of their characters’ interiority, explore individual agency, and speak to issues around identity in fresh and nuanced ways. Before coming to Random House, Azraf graduated from The College of William & Mary with a major in Government and interned at Aevitas Creative Management.
