JP joined Random House early this year as an Editorial Assistant for The Dial Press. Since then, he’s worked with authors like KT Hoffman, DéLana R.A. Dameron, Tara Stringfellow, and Justine Champine. JP loves introspective stories, especially those centering queerness and Blackness. He is interested in epic coming-of-age stories and contemplative literary fiction. A pop culture fanatic, JP adores nonfiction about popular media, the internet, and modernity. Prior to joining Dial, he was a bookseller for Barnes & Noble Park Slope. A proud New Jersey native and a graduate of Columbia University, he currently adores living in Brooklyn.
