Marie Pantojan is an Executive Editor at Random House, where she publishes both nonfiction and literary fiction. She has published New York Times and national bestsellers, as well as winners and/or finalists for the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, the Mark Lynton History Prize, the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction, the New American Voices Award, and many others. In nonfiction, she has recent or forthcoming books with Rebecca Donner, Dr. Joy Buolamwini, Nicole Eustace, Malcolm Harris, Kathryn Paige Harden, and Cristina Rivera Garza; in fiction, her authors include Daphne Palasi Andreades, Nicole Dennis-Benn, Nicky Gonzalez, Karen Jennings, and Larissa Pham. She was a 2023 PW Star Watch honoree, and is a longtime mentor with the Representation Matters Program.
