Mary Reynics is an Editorial Director at Ballantine, acquiring nonfiction with a wide reach. Mary also responds to projects that illuminate the American experience and celebrate our shared history. She edits broadly in personal development and business, psychology, family and relationships, autobiography, history, book club nonfiction, and stories infused with faith and positive spirit. She has edited over two dozen New York Times bestsellers, including most recently We the Women by Norah O’Donnell, The 5 Types of Wealth by Sahil Bloom, The Devil at His Elbow by Valerie Bauerlein, and This American Woman by Zarna Garg. Other authors she has partnered with in her career include President George W. Bush, Carol Dweck, Gretchen Rubin, Carol Burnett, Charles Krauthammer, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, Grant Wahl, Adam Makos, Cynt Marshall, and James Fell. She spent fourteen years with the Crown Publishing Group before moving to Ballantine in 2019.
