Maya Millett is a senior editor at The Dial Press, an imprint of Random House, which she joined in 2021 after many years working as an independent editor and audio producer, and in the arts nonprofit sector. Maya is looking for smart upmarket thriller and suspense, propulsive book club fiction, narrative nonfiction and memoir, and stories by BIPOC writers. She is particularly drawn to stories of women coming into their power, reckoning with the complicated parts of themselves. She has published a range of authors, including DéLana Dameron, LaTonya Yvette, Sarah Kay, Naomi Jackson, and Olympic track and field athlete Allyson Felix.
