Shauna Summers (she/her) is VP Editor-in-Chief for Dell, where she oversees the program devoted to romance and happily-ever-afters of every kind, including romantasy and women’s fiction. She also acquires and edits all kinds of commercial fiction. Some of her bestselling authors include Sarah Adams, Adrienne Young, Olivia Rose Darling, Hannah Bonam-Young, Demi Winters, Debbie Macomber,  Nancy Thayer, and Sarah MacLean. She published Sarah Addison Allen’s debut novel Garden Spells as well as Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series. Recent favorites include The Book Witch by Meg Shaffer, These Summer Storms by Sarah MacLean, The Wild Card by Stephanie Archer, and Lady X by Molly Fader. Shauna is always looking for that irresistible combination of voice, character, and plot that have made her a lifelong voracious and wide-ranging reader. As the picture of publishing consolidation, Shauna has worked at four different imprints that are all now one group, starting her career at Bantam, moving to Ballantine, back to Bantam Dell, and she now happily acquires for all three lists.
